I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could decorate one room in five different styles and still look unique by changing colours, patterns and accessories. In all the looks you’ll see I used the same couch, chairs, coffee table, end table and cabinet.
Basic Beige

I started the challenge with this simple living room using white, beige and blue as my colour scheme. Kind of boring, but it would be a nice room for an older couple or a very neat family who can keep the white couch and chairs clean.
Fun and Flirty

As you can see just by changing colours and accessories the room has a totally different vibe. I could see a young woman using this room. Someone who loves to have friends over and watch movies and just hang out on the comfy couch reading a book.
Spring is in the Air

I wanted this style to reflect the spring season with flower print pillows and paintings of birds and butterflies. I could see a family or couple who love nature and the outdoors using this room.
Chic and Stylish

When I made this room I had a stylish sim in mind. Keeping up with trends is important, someone who loves bold colours and loves to be the center of attention. Having a great space to entertain is a must.
Family Fun

I wanted to use a more masculine colour scheme for my last living room. It still has some feminine twists but I could see a family curling up on the couch watching tv or doing homework after a long day.
It was a lot of fun experimenting with different styles I may have to try it again with a bedroom next.
I love this.
